In this course students will build awareness and knowledge about environmental issues or problems. Through various hands on and team building activities, students will gain the knowledge and necessary skills to make informed decisions and take responsible action for their planet! We are a transitioning society where it is crucial to be knowledgeable of the environment and its associated problems. Once students become aware of the problems we will discover the solutions , and together be motivated to solve them! This class will cover:
- Awareness and sensitivity to the environment and environmental challenges
- Knowledge and understanding of the environment and environmental challenges
- Attitudes of concern for the environment and motivation to improve or maintain environmental quality
- Skills to identify and help resolve environmental challenges
- Participation in activities that lead to the resolution of environmental challenges.
