The Lighthouse School is such a great addition to our homeschool! Thank you for providing an environment for my son to learn in such a fun, hands-on, and engaging way!

We actually moved from Tampa to Winter Garden for Lighthouse because it has been the stable, shining light in our homeschool journey. We tried many programs before and none compare. We’ve been a part of both the UE and Jr High programs now for nearly 3 years. Lighthouse is the perfect blend of structured learning environment and student led, flexible educational enrichment. It allows my child to get a school type experience in a low pressure environment, with just enough time in the day to keep her engaged and eager to return. She’s learning and sharing things that impress me every day! The real life experience the instructors bring to their course design is amazing. Most of all, I feel safe and happy dropping my student off knowing she is cared for and very loved by all the staff. Amber does a wonderful job organizing this program and making sure the kids know how important and valued they are and every teacher is just as supportive. We’ve made lifelong friends because of the Lighthouse community and I’m so grateful to finally be able to put down roots.

The Lighthouse environment allows unique personalities to thrive, nourishing curiosity and encouraging both working as a community and as an individual. It's an irreplaceable asset to our homeschool curriculum, and we look forward to continuing with them for years to come.

The Lighthouse School in Winter Garden is one of the most amazing finds for any family looking at alternative education. After watching my son struggle in public school, joining Lighthouse felt like a breath of fresh air. My son has so much fun with all the activities that they do, he loves the teachers, and he cherishes the friendships he has created. Seeing him grow socially and emotionally over our time here has been incredibly touching to see. Ms. Amber and all of the other teachers have unrivaled communication that helps us, as parents, feel more comfortable and confident in what is happening during the day with my son. The staff put in so much effort into holding events to make sure that the children receive opportunities to have the "typical" school type of activities such as harvest festivals, dances, and performances so that no one feels like they are missing out on something. Adding Lighthouse into our homeschooling gave us a community that was more than we ever could have imagined. We are so incredibly grateful to have become a part of something as special as The Lighthouse School. There really isn't anything else like it!

Lighthouse School of Winter Garden has been the perfect addition to our Home Education Plan. Starting at the school in 2018, each new semester my son has enjoyed amazing, collaborative classes. Not only has the educational enrichment he’s receiving increased his knowledge and fueled his passions, but his confidence level has grown tremendously. The administration and staff provide such a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. He has developed friendships and is part of a caring community. With the addition of high school classes, he is now excited about his future!

My kids grown and flourished in so many ways thanks to the wonderful staff and community centered environment at Lighthouse. The classes offered have help to expand their interest and see topics in a new light. They get to explore subjects I never would have thought of and options to learn in different way, thanks to the professional knowledge and excitement the teachers at Lighthouse bring to the classroom. Amber works hard to make each child feel special and to know them on a personal level so that she can help them grow as productive community members. She helps guide the kids and staff members by showing them what a strong leader with a compassion heart can be. I cannot say enough wonderful things about all the teachers at Lighthouse. The knowledgeable backgrounds they bring from real life professional work helps to bring the subjects they teach to life. They truly care about the students and do everything they can to help them expand their minds and grow as human beings.
