Early Elementary (Ages 4-6)

Foster the growth of functional independence, task persistence, and self-regulation
Promote social development through respectful, clear communication as well as recognizing and expressing their own feelings
Provide a large variety of materials for development of expression and knowledge to pursue their interests and abilities
Offer opportunities for imaginative exploration leading to confident, creative self-expression

In our Early Elementary classes, students develop skills in self-expression and formative understanding and application of social, emotional, and early academic concepts.

Adhering to the Whole Child Philosophy, Early Elementary students will have opportunities to nurture not only their mind but their emotional and social well being. Each day will consist of a mindfulness and self-expression class, to develop their abilities of reflection and communication. A STEM class, to engage their curiosities of how things work. A physical activity/game class to strengthen fine and gross motor skills and teamwork. And an art and creativity class, to inspire out of the box thinking and imagination. Class themes change bi-weekly, offering eight areas of study throughout the semester.
