Description
Sep. 12-Dec. 5 (no classes Nov 23)
More and more people are starting their own businesses, even inventing new products and building a business with them. So what does it take to make it to a show like Shark Tank and be a successful entrepreneur? Move over Mark Cuban, we’re here to teach students how the economy works and how it affects the potential for their business to succeed. Using hands on projects, games and real business examples, we’ll teach students how to start thinking like an entrepreneur – everything from finding a need, analyzing the market and creating the initial plan for a potential business. Designed as a full year class, this first half will give them the knowledge they need to start working on something that could change their life – and the world. After that, we’ll teach them how to develop their business, market, and run numbers and culminate with a real pitch to some sharks! Don’t be “Out” from this class!
