Middle School students will be challenged through a variety of classes taught by fantastic instructors. Students will take literature, creative writing, art, yoga, science, American government and participate in cooperative story telling led by our professional storyteller.
Inspirational Lit! – Each week we will be delving into books, short stories, and poems that inspire, uplift, and show our protagonist overcoming challenges and adversities; big and small. We will discuss the importance of a growth mindset and see how failure can lead to success. Students will share and write their thoughts on each day’s reading and create their own poems and stories. We will end each day with an inspirational quote from famous books or authors.
American Government – Explore the inner workings of our Republic. We will discover the branches on our government, the Constitution, voting and all the things that make American democracy what it is today! Why do we have Democrats and Republicans? How does a bill become a law? Just a few of the questions we will dig into to learn about the home of the free and the land of the brave.
**Homework may be assigned in middle school classes
