Upper Elementary
(Ages 8-11)

Classes take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week. Students are highly encouraged to participate in the full three-day schedule, however they may also choose to register for a two-day or single-day schedule.

Students in our Upper Elementary age range have the opportunity to choose between three classes each period. Our classes provide a variety of focuses, including STEM, art and creativity, humanities, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Exploring these topics with a hands-on, collaborative approach to learning fosters a deep understanding of essential concepts.

Survive This!

What would you do if you faced a bear, spotted a shark, or got caught in a lightning storm? In this class, we’ll dive into the science of survival and learn how to stay safe in dangerous situations. Explore wild scenarios through games, challenges, and hands-on experiments, from quicksand to getting lost in the woods. Practice key survival skills like building shelters, starting a fire, choosing the right tools, and signaling for help, all while testing your science smarts each week. By the end, you’ll be ready for all kinds of “what if” situations!

Stage to Screen

It’s time to step into the spotlight! In this dynamic acting class, students will explore the fundamentals of performance through monologues, scene work, and on-camera acting. Students will work together throughout the semester to write scenes and film commercials. This class offers a fun, supportive space to grow, create, and shine.

Art Bootcamp

Every project is a new and exciting ride! In this class, we will break out of the box and dive into the thrilling world of mixed media, exploring a new, vibrant art medium each week. From the smooth strokes of acrylic paint to the rich textures of clay and the intricate details of collage, you’ll become a master of variety. This class is designed to unlock your imagination by teaching you how to combine different materials in unique and unexpected ways.
